Geography and History at OUS
You won't believe where Paddington has been. He is traveling all around the United States to help us learn about our country. We received pictures from Mr. Everett in Washington. D.C. and it has been so much fun learning about all the wonderful things that Paddington is doing on his trip. This has been a great geography and history lesson and we appreciate Mr. Everett going to so much trouble for our first graders at OUS. Thanks to Mr. Everett and Jack Green and his family for sending Paddington on this great adventure.
What a great way to learn!
We learned so much at the fire station yesterday. The firemen showed us what to do if our house catches on fire. Then the smoke detector went off and we had to crawl to the door and out of a window to get to a safe meeting place. We got to go through the fire station and learn about the jobs and responsibilities of our firefighters. This was a great learning experience and we appreciate the job that our firefighters do each day to help keep us safe.
